What does your family have on Christmas for those that celebrate and have family dinners?
Question by 030809: What does your family have on Christmas for those that celebrate and have family dinners?
Trying to figure out my menu still. Will have 11 people there plus children. I was thinking about just having:
Ham
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Corn
But I feel as though that is not enough and I really want to have a special Christmas and I want to W O W everybody!

sounds soooo good!

i think thats plenty. you dont have to overdo the menu to impress. that usually ends up stressing you and your budget. you can jazz it up by serving a dessert. maybe some wine or something like that. a nice centerpiece.
I agree… that sounds like plenty, but as Colby said above, maybe throw in something sweet like cranberry sauce or Christmas Jello Salad. The way to W O W your guests is not a huge amount of variety, but to make sure each dish is well prepared and tasty. I think you will be just fine dear.
Merry Christmas.
I was thinking a nice cranberry relish and some dinner rolls would add to your menu nicely
turkey
stuffing
yams
mashed potatoes & gravy
carrots
brussel sprouts
macaroni salad
marinated veggie salad
buns
cranberries
===
Ham
Au gratin potatoes
Green bean casserole
Rolls & butter
Strawberry pie
