    @gregorybyerline Though I am not a Gaga fan at all, in fact the fad can not end FAST ENOUGH! She knows her music and the theory that goes along with. There are still people who know what they are doing with their instruments…but now we, music lovers, just have to look a little harder…its out there,

    @gregorybyerline Apples and Oranges. Gaga is impressive in her own right – I thoroughly enjoy both.

    @gregorybyerline All is not lost, life is resilient, if you or I care, we are in a position to improve things, even if for only one person, even if only for ourselves, the past is the past and yes it did happen, and now, what today, what delightful way will we bring more music back – or forward – how will we innovate and explore now? Hope is not lost unless you say it is.

    @toddcharry – I have to agree completely. Listening to this music feels like my pandora’s box of emotions opens up – absolutely beautiful melody.

    @gregorybyerline – unfortunately, I must agree with you. I started my schooling in my native country Peru, where I was taught music. But when I moved to the USA to continue with high school, music was almost gone already. I will always be in debt to my grandmother Aurora who had the patience to teach me some skills for piano – I just wish I had the same talent as this man playing in this video. As for musical talent in today’s students….hmm, I can only cry when I hear Hip-Hop, Rap, Lady Gaga.

    @toddcharry I feel that way. I’m only 19 but my mother used to play his album December and this song make me very emotional reminding me of my childhood and what a great life I had and still have. I adore all of his music; especially December, the album.

    We used this song in the background of our Christmas performance’s drama, about a man who had lost everything and had gone onto drugs, and about a man who was losing his home and an elderly man in a nursing home who just wanted to die. Then a lady (played by my mom) came over to all of them giving them a Bible and reminding them that there’s hope in God and he will give you all that you need. So they come to know Christ in the drama. It was very touching. I think the drama got to everyone.

    @Stratmastuh
    You’re right. He isn’t that brilliant. But it takes some damn good talent to play so emotional like he does, it takes some timing.

    As a mother of two sons who are in the US Military I know the feelings of pride and fear that comes with having your loved one away in a dangerous place everyday of the year. However, it’s a totally different feeling on a holiday. So much more intensity is found in those feelings. And yes, it does cross your mind, you do wonder if maybe that last holiday you were together was your last holiday together and the ache that fills your heart and the fright that fears your soul at the recognition

    @l0michelle0s sorry, I can’t go back and edit… that was DONT FORGET… lol There’s a saying I found one time that says “I’m deployed so you don’t get drafted, I’m away from my loved ones, so you can enjoy everyday with yours, I’m counting down the days until I come home, so you can count down the days until your next vacation”… these are the sacrafices of a soldier/airmen/sailor…. That’s ultimately what this video was getting at. Remember.. Thank you again for all the military supporters
