STRATACACHE Helps Keep Thanksgiving Tradition Alive in Dayton through its Sponsorship of “A Feast of Giving”

STRATACACHE, headquartered in Dayton, OH, along with a generous group of donors are encouraging giving and constituting what community is all about this Holiday season by sponsoring the 2nd annual “Feast of Giving” Thanksgiving Day dinner. This special Thanksgiving celebration will be held at the Dayton Convention Center on Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
As a Dayton tradition for the past 40 years, this year marks the celebration’s second year under its new name, Thanksgiving in Dayton: “A Feast of Giving”. In correspondence to its new name, the theme of the dinner has also taken on a new direction. The event’s focus is to make sure that all guests enjoy a fun, entertaining and flavorful experience.
The event will provide free parking in the Convention Center garage along with free bus transportation provided by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority to and from the event from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“With many donations needed to orchestrate such an event, STRATACACHE is proud to be a part of the Thanksgiving Day dinner,” said Chris Riegel, STRATACACHE CEO. “Whether a dinner, a celebration, or a community event, we’re keeping the tradition of Thanksgiving alive.”
The annual Thanksgiving dinner is believed to be the largest of its kind in the nation having served an average of 4,000 free turkey dinners per year. The renewed event is based on the following principles:
To provide a dinner for anyone that might be spending the holiday alone.
To provide a dinner for those that are homeless or less fortunate.
To provide a dinner for anyone who wants to attend.
