Site’s ‘Cool’ Paper Outselling Regular Wallpaper

Totally Home

Norwich, Norfolk (PRWEB) November 26, 2008

Times are tough. People aren’t moving house. They are re-decorating instead – and once trendy wallpaper is well and truly back in vogue. Not any old wallpaper though, according to leading DIY and interiors website, totallyhome.co.uk, but the latest designer wallpapers. The site, which sells wallpapers by a whole host of famous contemporary designers and interiors experts including style icon Wayne Hemingway, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Linda Barker and Erika Wakerly has reported sales of its designer ‘cool paper’ sales reaching new peaks over the past quarter.

“Despite selling at a small premium over other wallpapers, customers seem to be wanting a bold new look right now” explained totallyhome.co.uk founder Barry Godfrey. ” I have to say the designs and colourway choices really seem to be hitting the mark and we have been genuinely surprised at the recent online sales, especially at a time when we were expecting the lowest price papers to be moving fastest.”

“It would appear that if they are staying put, rather than moving, then they want to make their living environment as pleasurable as possible, and savings are taking a back seat. Having said that our designer papers start from under £15 a roll so it’s not as if they are having to spend lavishly to furnish their home with exactly what they want.”

Designer ‘Cool papers’ available on the totallyhome.co.uk site.
