@riven311 What I mean is that there is no predetermined “goal” to life, but that you set your own goals. These are also known as aspirations. You decide what you want to do in this life, and you set the goal of doing it. If you fail, you can try again (preferably with different tactics in mind), and after many tries you feel that you are not ready or the goal is not worth the time, move on to something else. In this you create your own purpose, and it doesn’t need to matter to anyone except you.

@ZsTARR64 think the point of purpose is a really point less way of life. purpose meaning that theres a goal in life. if you have no goals you open to every thing that is out there.

@redman8903 It’s not what you’ve lost, but what you never tried to get in the first place! It’s what you never gave yourself a chance to get. You haven’t done well socially. That doesn’t mean your life is over, and it most certainly does not mean that you lack purpose. All these people that you’ve tried to get along with, they won’t matter five or ten years from now. It’s a big planet, and there is more on it to do than fit in with a bunch of shallow pricks who don’t like you for who you are.

I appreciate you trying to help but whatever i do i serve no prupose to anyone, no one loves me, no one will miss me. You came from nothing, you go back to nothing, what have you lost?

But what I can promise is that how much you matter doesn’t have shit to do with anybody but you. If it’s because you lack purpose, well, purpose isn’t found, it’s made. If it’s because you hate your life, change it. Take it from someone who’s been through the same thing, YOUR life is what YOU alone make of it.

@adygirl13 Unleess you are Jimmy Stewart in “its a wonderful life” nothing will change if you die. People will forget about you with in days/weeks/months. I’m killing myself on the 2nd of January. Its one of the few happy sensible thoughts left in my head to know that at least i won’t upset anyone by not being around anymore. Cleary you are in some position where you matter to others.

girl ive been madly in love with for three years recently abandoned the only thing we had together. i tried to make myself straight a billion and one ways, finally coming out as bi. my whole school is homophobic. i finally fessed up to myself that im only deluding myself into thinking im over her. i realise that she’ll never come back and i stalked her on facebook, then deleted it.

Yes you are one in a 7 billion which are a blip in the entire universe, but why does that lead you to conclude your life is a meaningless one? isn’t that just the same as concluding the opposite?
Both conclusions are irrelevant because both of them are relevant to experience. The “truth” is, life is life. it is beautiful, ordinary, complex, simple, ever evolving, mysterious phenomena, which some say is filled with love and other with suffering, It is life, it is you.

I disagree. It is the nature of the human being to be self-absorbed. Nothing is more important to a human being than his/her own life. With everyone so focused on themselves, how can you expect anybody to truly care about you at all?
