Human Weapon – MMA: America’s Extreme Fighting

December 13th, 2011 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the fastest growing sport in the United States. Though many think of it as a recent phenomenon, the moves used by today’s great MMA fighters date back hundreds, and sometimes thousands of years, and come from every corner of the globe, from Japan to Brazil and Greece to Thailand. Hosts Bill Duff and Jason Chambers explore the unique world of the American MMA phenomenon, its current success and its fascinating history. They will train with the sport’s greatest masters and explore the history of the most successful moves used by these champions, eventually facing off against a skilled MMA fighter in a real exhibition match. In the ultimate search for a HUMAN WEAPON, mixed martial artist Jason Chambers and football pro Bill Duff put their bodies on the line as they train in the most lethal forms of combat before going toe-to-toe with masters of each fighting style.

@devmanl thats bc old MMA was just bar brawlers and wrestlers…thats why the Gracies dominated which their Jiu jitsu…..now days most every fighter is versatile meaning they are boxers, muay thai fighters, bjj black belts, wrestlers, and etc…now days if you do not have a stand up game and a ground game…you dont belong in MMA…

The double leg takedown is pretty much the first move you learn in wrestling.

@vsallbutme Is waiting 30 seconds to watch a video really that unbearable? Also, just like sipplet2009 said, if there weren’t any ads on youtube, then we would be paying for it instead of it being free. So just quit your bitching.

@G0llum3000 Haha nothing, just looked funny to me cuz i’m always used to practicing martial arts barefoot. It’s awkard for me to kick with shoes on. Nothin wrong with it, just looked funny to me at first :)

@Iwishiwerethird What’s wrong with practicing kicks with shoes on? If you get mugged in real life and want to kick the mugger I don’t think you will be kicking without shoes on.

@sipplet2009 Free? It is free nonetheless dude, if they charged a membership fees, then they lose viewers. And who are the people posting these videos? Viewers. Youtube like every company just wants to increase revenue every way they can with these ads.
